Concept 2 & the Skierg @ the 2012 Vasaloppet China in Changchun_01022012_Race Report
On January 2 with a temperature of -22C the 2012 Vasaloppet was held. C2 Skierg (www.skierg.cn) was on of the Event sponsors and braved the cold to take part. This years event was the 10th year of cooperation between the Vasaloppet and the Changchun Government. The event was well run and had a great turnout of not only international skiers but also local skiers hailing from the university programs, local ski associations as well as the general public.
C2 Skierg was able to be shown off to some of the local teams and the day culminated with us presenting two prizes (2 Skiergs with stand) to the top male and female winners of the China Tour de Ski.
Overall a successful event and Skierg looks forward to being involved in future skiing event in China!

Day One Report--
Concept2 (www.concept2.cn or www.skierg.cn) arrived in Changchun to a beautiful and cold day (-13C）. Location set up is under way as the local government and skiing associations prepare for the big race. See photos below and keep posted as we provide details.

Beijing California Fitness Concept2 Indoor Rowing Personal Trainer Certification
Master Trainer Andrew Gao held a Concept2 Indoor Rowing Personal Trainer Certification class at Beijing California Fitness (www.californiafitness.com/cn/gb). With the completion of the training Concept 2 will be certifying 15 new instructors. Congratulation and stay tune for more photos and details once the certificates have been issued.

Concept2 will offer 2 SkiErg PM3 machines to the overall winners of China Tour de Ski, male and female. In addition, on Vasaloppet China race day, there will be an on-site exhibition, including coach, of Concept2's SkiErg machines, which will also allow elite skiers the opportunity for warming-up before the start of the big 50k race. On Saturday November 19th 2011, a date that will live in annals of history, Master Trainer Andrew Gao, Nick Herbert and Zhou Yuanmu began the worlds first people to Row on the Great Wall of China. One small stroke for us one giant stroke for rowing kind!

Concept 2 at Hurun Report Rowing Gala
The Hurun Report sponsored a Rowing Regatta at the Beijing Shun Yi Olympic Water Sports Center on Oct 29th. C2 Rowing Machines were on hand to give the viewing audience the chance to try out rowing!
